The Story of Hope
MEET MAC
The above photos are Hope
at 8 weeks old. Hope is an
American Pit Bull Terrier and
you do not have to know Pit
Bulls to know that, an 8
week old puppy should
weigh more than 1.2 pounds.
Which is exactly what she
weighed the day she came to
me. Hope had been rejected
by her mother and the
breeder had done everything
he knew how to do with her.
It was the first time I had
ever been presented with a
puppy I did not know if I
could help. Hence her name
"HOPE".
Despite the fact she was
only  1.2 lbs Hope could
not maintain her own
body temperature she
had a staff infection,
urine scald, and every
intestinal parasite known
to man. Hope also had a
prolapsed Iris, which we
were able to get the
swelling out of but she
will be permanently blind
in that eye.
But after months of
working with this little
girl. I am happy to say
Hope is doing great now
at 7 months Hope is part
of our family and will
remain here for the rest
of her days.
Hope at 7 months.
Here are some photos of our happy placements

Welcome to Anglo-American
Patterdale Terriers
We at Anglo-American believe all animals deserve a chance.
Therefore, we will take rescue and unwanted animals when we
have the space and ability. We spay/neuter any animals that come
to us as a rescue. We also will help place animals in good pet
homes that may no longer serve their purpose as performance,
hunting, or breeding animals. We get many inquires for animals
like this. We do screen any potential pet homes and ask for
references from their veterinarians. We charge no fees in either
taking in or adopting out, said animals. Therefore are numbers are
limited in what we can take in. So we try to limit our adoptions to
unwanted or found terriers as that is what we deal the most in and
that is where our knowledge lies. For information on rescue or
animals for adoption please email us at
andrea@anampatterdales.com

We have been actively rescuing for the last four years.

So far we have placed

Over 40 dogs including 29 Patterdale Terriers

All Rescues are Spayed/Neutered before going to new homes!
